Job Purpose
Manage the day-to day operations of the Direct Marketing and Communications division in accordance with General Manager. Be responsible for planning, developing and executing direct marketing campaigns and client communication cycles in line with set budgets and targets with a clear focus on acquisition, cross sell and client relationship management. Key outputs are to be responsible for the execution of campaign, communication and data related activities in the Real Estate and Insurance sectors. Manage relationships with key stakeholders and service providers to maximize efficiencies and costs.

Role Specific Requirements
Operational, Technical and Financial Results:
• Define, implement and maintain a suitable campaign methodology to ensure efficient campaign execution in line with marketing plans and communication cycles.
• Implement multiple test and control campaigns across the various direct marketing channels with the ability to track and report on learnings.
• Plan and compile marketing plans and communication cycles in line with targets and budgets for direct marketing stakeholders.
• Advise and liaise with key stakeholders (sales managers, account managers etc.) on campaign information, strategy, trend analysis and best practice.
• Accountability for campaign strategies in order to drive long and short term business objectives.
• Ensure maximum return on investment from the campaigns for all direct marketing stakeholders.
• Plan and implement communication cycles to drive the Real Estate rewards program as a support to drive leads for the business
• Manage website content in accordance with brand marketing team, business stakeholders and agencies.
• Align all direct marketing and communication activities with Brand Marketing and Online.
• Proactively analyze division’s activities on a regular basis to improve and innovate in terms of campaigns, efficiencies and systems.

• Writing and Reporting: Writes convincingly; Writes clearly, succinctly and correctly; Avoids the unnecessary use of jargon or complicated language; Writes in a well-structured and logical way; Structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.

Qualifications
Essential:
• Grade 12 (Standard 10) with University Entrance (NQF4)
• 3 – 5 years Direct Marketing & Communications experience
• A relevant 3 year Business related degree / diploma in Business Management and/or Marketing
